BUSHWHACKER PROGRAM

As four-week Bushwhackers, campers head to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula for a seven day backpacking trip at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The hiking trail follows sandstone ledges overlooking Lake Superior, providing stunning views. Campers are introduced to new backcountry skills, such as cooking dehydrated food and filtering their own water. This trip is a rewarding adventure as campers have the opportunity to overcome personal boundaries and learn how to work together. The skills they learn on their trip are brought back to camp where they get to spend their last two weeks participating in a variety of activities, such as arts & crafts, archery, climbing tower, ropes course, and more with their cabin group.
