This hybrid trip begins in Traverse City, where campers will embark on a 35-mile, 3-day hike along the North Country Trail (NCT), immersing themselves in the beauty of the region’s forests and landscapes. The journey continues as the NCT intersects with the Manistee River, where the group will trade their hiking packs for canoes and paddle along the scenic river for 4 days.

With breathtaking views, abundant wildlife, and endless opportunities for exploration, this adventure offers a perfect blend of hiking and paddling, allowing campers to experience the wilderness in a unique and meaningful way. It’s a chance to make unforgettable memories, soaking in the beauty of nature one last time as campers.
