Pioneer campers will enjoy the best of summer camp fun, including swimming, ziplining, climbing our rock wall, arts and crafts, sailing, canoeing, and making new friends. Staff selected to supervise this age group work on creating a tight-knit cabin group, with an emphasis on fun, safety, and supporting one another.

Pioneers get twice the adventure with two unforgettable wilderness experiences!                          

Trip 1: Campers get to experience the wild beauty of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Campers hike the dunes, explore the shores of Lake Michigan, cook over camp stoves, and learn essential wilderness skills.                                                                  Trip 2: For their second adventure, Pioneers get to paddle the AuSable River for a Three-day canoe camping adventure. This trip is a perfect intro into nomadic camping, packing down camp each morning. Campers paddle through winding waterways, learn to read the river, cook over camp stoves, and build essential wilderness and camping skills along the way.
