Our Adventurer Program is the perfect introduction to YMCA Hayo-Went-Ha Camps for campers who have completed the third grade.

This two-week experience is all about the unlimited excitement of YMCA Hayo-Went-Ha Camps: swimming, ziplining, climbing the rock wall, arts and crafts, and making new friends! Two great counselors, chosen for their talent in connecting with these young campers, will guide the cabin as outstanding role models, providing non-stop fun in the outdoors. Introductory lessons throughout the two-week session will begin to build confidence and skills in camping, sailing, canoeing, and more!

For their first wilderness trip, campers set out on a brief scenic canoe paddle across our lakes before returning to their overnight campsite in a wooded corner of our property. They’ll enjoy a cozy campfire, fun games, and a night beneath the stunning Northern Michigan stars.
