When Parents Will Be Notified
We believe in keeping parents informed. You will be contacted if your child:
- Is admitted to the Health Center overnight
- Subsequent notification for any additional days spent in the Health Center.
- Has a fever (over 100.4 ºF)
- Has sustained a significant injury
- Has an injury that HC staff recommend be further assessed at a local urgent care
- Is admitted to an Emergency Room or inpatient/outpatient hospital.
- Any time an ambulance might be called.
- Has used an Epi-Pen or experienced some form of allergic reaction
- Is running low on prescription medication and requires a refill
- Has completed their prescription medication regimen
- If medication schedules need to be changed for a participant
- HC staff require further clarification regarding your child’s medical history
