When Parents Will Be Notified

We believe in keeping parents informed. You will be contacted if your child:

  • Is admitted to the Health Center overnight
    • Subsequent notification for any additional days spent in the Health Center.
  • Has a fever (over 100.4 ºF)
  • Has sustained a significant injury
  • Has an injury that HC staff recommend be further assessed at a local urgent care 
  • Is admitted to an Emergency Room or inpatient/outpatient hospital.
  • Any time an ambulance might be called.
  • Has used an Epi-Pen or experienced some form of allergic reaction
  • Is running low on prescription medication and requires a refill
  • Has completed their prescription medication regimen
  • If medication schedules need to be changed for a participant
  • HC staff require further clarification regarding your child’s medical history
