We limit care packages to HOME-BAKED GOODS shared by the entire cabin group. Store-bought items will be kept and returned at the end of the session. Due to problems in the past with excessive “junk food” in cabins, we have had to enforce this policy. When mailing, please include the camper’s name and cabin name or cabin number.

We are a peanut-free facility and frequently have campers with peanut allergies. Anything sent to camp must be peanut-free. Packages are screened before the camper receives them, and anything prohibited will be confiscated (to be returned later) or, in some cases, destroyed.
Please also keep in mind that any food kept in the cabin will attract bugs and rodents. Our cabins are not sealed against forest intruders. Even food locked away in a trunk may attract pests trying to find it.
We highly recommend sending no more than one package a week to your camper(s). Our capacity to handle more is limited and we cannot guarantee that they will be delivered. Also, several bunk mates do not receive anything in the mail so, it helps to manage healthy behaviors such as not to single out anyone or create conflicts. We highly recommend looking closely at your camper’s trip schedule (when received at camp check-in) to determine the best time when sending items.
