Airport-to-Camp Transportation is available for campers flying into and out of Traverse City, MI (TVC). As a courtesy to our families, we offer a number of options for your camper:
- One-way to Arbutus (girl’s camp) $20.00 / Round-trip to/from Arbutus camp $40.00
- One-way to Torch (boy’s camp) $20.00 / Round-trip to/from Torch camp $40.00
- A Bedding set is $65: This is a service we offer only for those who fly to camp. This includes a set of full bedding for their cabin bunk (towel, two sheets, two blankets, pillow, and pillowcase) that will reduce your checked baggage. If you need bedding and it is after June 1st please email the Camp Director to be added for this service.
Please be sure to clearly inform us of your child’s flight details and arrival information including departure, on the airport transportation form in your online camp account BY JUNE 1st. If you have specific questions regarding an unaccompanied minor, please email the camp director. Your flight arrival and departure times should be within the check-in and check-out time frame each session.
When purchasing flights:
- Campers should arrive on the Sunday of your first day of camp, if at all possible, after 2 pm.
- Campers should depart on the last Friday of their time at camp, if at all possible, before 2 pm.
- We know that times outside of these guidelines are sometimes necessary due to airline scheduling. We’ll work with you to find the best possible experience for your camper, please contact us with any questions [link].
Unaccompanied Minors
If your camper will be flying as an unaccompanied minor (age 15 or younger, depending on the airline). You will need to provide the contact information of the adult picking your child up at the airport. Until the summer, when we know who this person will be, please use the name and contact information of the director of your camper’s site.
We will inform you as soon as we know who will be picking up your camper at the airport so that you can pass this information on to the airline.

As a service to the families with campers who will be flying into the Traverse City airport, we provide a number of options for your camper:

- One-way to Torch (Boys Camp) $20
