Camp Wallet & Camp Store Spending

You are here:

As we cannot guarantee the security of cash sent with your camper, families can deposit spending money in the Camp Wallet via their CampBrain account.

Camp wallet funds can be used in the camp store while on camp. Some longer trips will deduct money from the camp wallet for spending money on town days for snacks while traveling.

The question of how much to send with your camper varies depending on how much cash you want available to them at the store or while traveling. Items in the store vary from $1 to $40. The store at Torch Lake sells snacks as well as merchandise. $40 for a two-week session and $80 for a four-week session should be sufficient.

If you send your camper with everything on the packing list, there should be nothing in the camp store that your camper is required to purchase in order to fully participate in camp.

Older campers who go on longer trips are more likely to have an opportunity to spend money on their trip. $20 in spending money for most trips should be sufficient. Please contact us if you have any questions.
