THE CABIN GROUP
Being part of a cabin at Hayo-Went-Ha Camps is our focus. A cabin consists of eight campers and two leaders living together for two to four weeks. Our goal is to blend the individual personalities and form a cohesive group. Being part of a cabin means that you look out for one another and support each other. It also means you’ll bunk, eat, and spend each morning doing group activities together. All of this culminates in your wilderness trip, where your group will experience the joys and challenges of nature.
Sample SCHEDULE
Cabins typically spend the mornings together doing individual activities or in friendly competition with other cabin groups. After lunch, campers will explore personal interests through Instruction Period and General Swim. During General Swim, you can choose between the beach, the craft shop, or other great activities.
