TRAILBLAZERS

Trailblazer is our program for 4th graders. Our staff that interacts with the Trailblazers are specially selected for their proven ability to work very well with younger campers. The Trailblazer Program will enjoy the Polar Bear Swim, ride the zipline, challenge themselves with our six climbing routes on the climbing wall, create great arts and crafts projects, learn how to sail and canoe, enjoy a game of ultimate frisbee or soccer, and make a LOT of new friends! Our staff focuses on fun, safety, and creating a solid cabin group in the cabin. The campers get to enjoy all that camp has to offer.

The Trip: The Trailblazer program is designed to introduce participants to the basics of canoeing. The adventure begins at Forks Campground, where the group launches onto the scenic Boardman River. They’ll paddle 4.3 miles downstream to Schecks, where they’ll set up camp for the night. Campers will also have the opportunity to prepare their own foil dinners over the campfire, adding a hands-on, rewarding touch to their outdoor experience.
